VEHICLE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY AND EMISSIONS DISCLAIMER
Some items used and/or installed by Velocity Factor may void portions of your
vehicle's factory warranty. Some items may not be legal for "on highway
use". Velocity Factor makes no guarantees to the legality of any parts
used for "on highway vehicles".
COMPONENT WARRANTY
All components, sold by Velocity Factor, warranty vary by manufacturer; therefore
for specific warranty information please call Velocity Factor. Warranty is intended
to cover components only when they are used in the manner for which they were
originally designed. Warranty is void on all products found to have been used
in racing or off-road applications, of any nature whatsoever, and on all products
that show evidence of abuse, lack of proper maintenance, improper installation,
misapplications, alteration in any way whatsoever from their original design
or negligence in the use of the Manufacturer’s products by the original
retail purchaser or by any agent of the original retail material. These warranties
specifically excludes, but is not limited to, any normal maintenance and wear
items such as belts, brake pad material, clutch disc friction material, and
brake rotors. Velocity Factor accepts no responsibility for any costs or grievances
incurred by failure of parts; including but not limited to labor and shipping
costs.
SERVICE WARRANTY
All work warranted against defects in workmanship for 12,000 miles or 12 months;
whichever occurs first. No warranty provided on failures caused from defects
in customer supplied parts. No warranty on any items on work found to fail due
to abuse, neglect, racing, or any scenarios considered outside normal driving
conditions. Some modifications may void portions of the factory warranty. Velocity
Factor is not responsible for any costs incurred by customer due to factory
warranty refusal. Not responsible for any costs or damage incurred to vehicle,
persons, or other property as a result of any work performed by Velocity Factor.
PROCEDURES FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS
In the event a problem occurs with a component, please contact Velocity Factor
at (800) 917-5758 during our normal business hours. When speaking to a customer
representative, you will need to have your invoice number on hand. The following
steps will then be followed:
1. Velocity Factor representative will determine if product will have to be
returned to Velocity Factor for inspection. A Return Merchandise Authorization
(RMA) number will be given to be placed clearly on the shipping label.
2. The retailer or the customer will ship the component in question back to
Velocity Factor, including the original sales receipt and a clear description
of the exact problem experienced. It is the responsibility of the retailer or
the customer to pay for shipping back to Velocity Factor.
3. If Velocity Factor finds the component to be defective and within the warranty
period, Velocity Factor will replace, or issue credit to the customer at Velocity
Factor option. Any repaired or replaced product will be returned to the retailer
or customer, freight prepaid via FEDEX Ground or by Truck. Please note that
no replacement warranty parts can be shipped until original parts are returned
to Velocity Factor for inspection.
RETURNS
In the event that a component must be returned, please contact a Velocity Factor
customer representative for an RMA number. The RMA number must be placed clearly
on the shipping label. Any returned products without an RMA number will be refused.
No returns accepted after 14 days from ship date shown on Invoice. There is
a 20% restocking fee applied to all components returned in a 100% resalable
condition. If returned components are not in a 100% resalable condition, an
additional charge will be assessed at the amount decided by Velocity Factor.
If component(s) are damaged, or show signs of installation, the return will
not be allowed. All returned good must be shipped to Velocity Factor by prepaid
freight. We highly recommend insuring any items shipped to Velocity Factor for
return. Special Order parts or electronics are not returnable.
ALL APPROVED RETURNS ARE FOR CREDIT ONLY. SHIPPING ERRORS AND DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
When receiving a shipment, please inspect packages immediately in the presence
of the delivery person. Damage claims must be made with the freight carrier
within 3 (three) days of receiving items. Velocity Factor insures all orders
over $100 and is not responsible for any damages incurred in transit. If you
receive an incorrect item due to our error we will issue a FedEx Call Tag at
no charge or have you ship via FedEx Ground to Velocity Factor and we will reimburse
the shipping charges. Correct components will be reshipped via FEDEX Ground
and you will be only charged for the parts. When incorrect parts are received,
we will issue a credit. You have 7 days from date of receiving shipment to make
a claim. No claims made after this time frame will be honored. QUESTIONS OR
